CHRISTIAN IDIOT. - V

It is always a mad rush when we get ready to go anywhere. On week-day mornings my sons drive me mad because they have to be on time in their school. My husband sometimes is equally inconsiderate. He shouts at me if the lunch pack is not ready on time. But they relax on their punctuality in going to church on Sunday mornings. My family thinks it is okay since there is no watchman to close the church gate at the stroke of the second bell. Nor do we have to clock-in our card at the church as they do in my husband’s workshop. It hurts me to note that we arrive late at the church every Sunday. I want to be at the church before the the worship starts because I cherish the silence before the service as a time for personal prayer. I wouldn’t like to miss the first hymn of praise, confession and the minister’s announcement of God’s forgiveness which are integral part of worship. Without God’s cleansing us, we cannot worship Him. I wish my family understands my anguish. Please tell me if I am being a little idiotic while others are cool about being late.
